About the role
- Technician for maintenance and service of A400M technical equipment in Wunstorf at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. Responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, and documentation in SAP with a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning of new operational equipment
- Independently perform preventive maintenance on ground support and test equipment, with a focus on motor-driven units
- Independently determine the scope of maintenance based on inspection findings
- Carry out repairs as assigned by maintenance management
- Document and report completed activities in the production/planning system SAP OPAL
- Identify potential improvements for the respective equipment with regard to maintenance procedures
Requirements
- Vocational qualification (Journeyman certificate) in a metalworking or electrotechnical trade
- Preferably solid knowledge and experience with engines and hydraulics
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electrical systems is desirable
- Experience working with tools and operational equipment
- Several years of experience in production or maintenance
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and SAP
- Basic technical English skills
- Driver’s license (class BE)
- Authorization to operate industrial trucks (forklifts) and aerial work platforms
