About the role

  • Head of Events leading event marketing strategy across EMEA for a global insurance leader. Collaborating with teams for successful event execution and marketing outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, schedule and lead the delivery of broker, client and partner events and sponsorships across the region in close collaboration with Marketing & Communications colleagues
  • Establish and continuously optimise best practices for event proposals, design, delivery and measurement
  • Advocate for the use of Cvent, Monday, Salesforce and other tools to ensure that events are planned, delivered, tracked, and measured for performance, ROI, and continuous improvement
  • Proactive support, guidance and strategic partner to EMEA Marketing & Communications, Product and Distribution partners

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Business Administration/Economics, Marketing/Communication, or related fields
  • Proven experience in Events Marketing, ideally in the financial service industry/regulated industry as well as B2B experience
  • Proven experience in event ROI measurement, ideally including commercial impact and attribution
  • Proficiency with both day-to-day activities and long-term strategic planning, striving under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities to keep up with the company's evolving needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as one of the following: German, French, Italian.
  • Additional language skills are an advantage
