About the role
- Financial Analyst supporting the Global Warranty Finance team in the US. Collaborating on financial reporting and analysis projects for business and underwriting teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Global Warranty Finance team and by extension, the business, underwriting, actuarial, and O&S teams they partner with
- Source and populate financial figures and metrics for periodic reporting deliverables covering production, losses, expenses, and head count, and others.
- Support the annual and quarterly Strategic Planning and Forecasting processes by gathering inputs from the business teams and compiling the projected results to be shared with the Business
- Work with the Finance team to prepare quarterly financial reporting deliverables, such as the Quarterly Narratives and Business Review Documents, to outline the performance of the business compared to relevant periods and projections.
- Support the Finance team to improve documentation around processes and procedures
- Participate in other special projects and/or coordination efforts that directly impact the financial reporting, budgeting and analysis of Global Warranty, and especially the US programs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting or finance experience
- BA degree or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and ability to multitask to meet competing deadlines
- Financial statement analysis experience
- Experience in forecasting and modelling and knowledge of business performance metrics
