Sales Manager developing corporate client portfolio for Choice Hotels in CALA region. Focusing on increasing Brazilian market revenue through strategic client relationships and promotions.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop a portfolio of Brazilian clients across multiple segments: corporate companies, travel agencies, tour operators, brokers, vacation clubs, OTAs, travel techs, TMCs and event organizers.
Promote the full Choice Hotels portfolio in the CALA region (Caribbean & Latin America), highlighting product differentiators, positioning and commercial opportunities.
Conduct in-person sales visits throughout Brazil, as well as remote meetings and executive presentations.
Prospect new clients and identify business opportunities in strategic and emerging markets.
Negotiate rates, agreements, campaigns and commercial incentives aligned with Choice’s global guidelines and the needs of the CALA region.
Develop commercial action plans to increase volume, room nights and revenue from the Brazilian market.
Manage the sales pipeline, update the CRM and report results, insights and opportunities to the GSO.
Represent Choice Hotels at trade shows, events, workshops and promotional activities in Brazil.
Strengthen strategic relationships with key partners, ensuring increased share, conversion and repeat business.
Act as a consultative advisor, understanding client needs and connecting them with CALA hotels.
Collaborate with international teams (Revenue, Marketing, Distribution and Operations) to maximize commercial performance and delivery.
Prepare accountability reports for all activities for Choice’s C-Level executives in Spanish and English.
Participate in meetings in Spanish and English with Choice’s C-Level regarding Commercial Planning and reporting.
Participate in trainings and workshops in Spanish and English with General Managers, Sales Managers, Reservations and Events teams of Choice CALA hotels.
Develop Commercial Action Plans: Annual, Quarterly and Monthly in Spanish and English with a strategic view that considers costs, activity organization, and maximizes ROI for the hotels.
Develop Marketing Action Plans focused on how to best promote and sell CALA hotels in Brazil.
Requirements
Previous sales experience in the travel/hospitality industry (preferably with hotels, tour operators, TMCs, OTAs or global chains).
Hunter and consultative profile, with strong prospecting, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
High availability for frequent travel within Brazil and internationally.
Ability to communicate with different client profiles and decision-makers.
Experience with CRM, sales funnel management, account management and commercial KPIs.
Intermediate/advanced English (preferred); Spanish is a plus.
Analytical ability to read the market, trends and sales performance.
Finalist candidates will also undergo interviews with Choice Hotels’ C-Level executives.
