About the role
- Intern supporting investment operations at Aflac Global Investments and gaining exposure to various asset classes. Responsibilities include assisting with reporting and observing trading activities.
Responsibilities
- Support investment teams across multiple asset classes by assisting with reporting, data analysis, and portfolio monitoring activities throughout the rotation.
- Gain exposure to the trading desk by observing daily trading activity and supporting automated reporting and documentation processes.
- Assist with portfolio management support tasks, including data validation, performance tracking, and preparation of summary materials.
- Rotate through select investment functions (e.g., trading, portfolio management, and investment operations) to understand how investment strategies are executed and supported across the organization.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in investments (e.g., investment club participation, coursework, or personal projects).
- Basic proficiency in Python or exposure to data analysis tools is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and interest in learning within a fast-paced investment environment.
- All candidates must have eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. and must be physically located in the continental U.S. for the duration of internship.
