About the role
- Service Operations Director managing financials and operations of German Service Profit Centers. Leading Field Service Planning while ensuring process optimization and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for revenue and the associated costs of the German Service Profit Centers (excluding the FM team), including forecasts
- Ensure timely, specification-compliant and budget-compliant order fulfillment
- Lead and develop the Field Service Planning & Hotline/Support team
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of the team leaders for project engineers and field service technicians
- Continuous optimization of processes and resources — including subcontractors — to improve key KPIs such as accident-free operations, revenue versus forecast and budget, utilization rate and customer on‑site time
- Promote sustainable growth in the area of order fulfillment
- Ensure a high level of technical competence and strict compliance with occupational health and safety standards
- Close collaboration with Service Sales, Service Order Management and other national and international interfaces
- Co-responsible for separating activities between service sales and service order fulfillment
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Solid experience in order fulfillment, ideally in an after-sales/service environment
- Good knowledge of occupational health & safety (Operational Health & Safety)
- Proficient with field service and ERP systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to translate strategic goals into concrete measures and implement them consistently
- Analytical thinking as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Decisive, solution-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
- Team-oriented working style
- Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken
