About the role

  • Associate Business Manager supporting Business Managers in achieving client goals at Acosta. Responsible for managing smaller clients and executing marketing and sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Business Manager in executing mutual business goals of Acosta and assigned clients
  • Manages the bulk of smaller clients’ responsibilities under the direction of the Business Manager
  • Supports the Business Managers with key clients
  • Develops and delivers sales presentations for smaller clients
  • Assists in promotion planning, execution tracking and post-promotion analysis for smaller clients
  • Liaison with Marketing and communicates key metrics

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Experience
  • At least one year of marketing, sales, or sales support
  • Sales skills including understanding sales process, contract paperwork, and client promotion systems
  • Presentation skills including preparation, delivery, and handling questions
  • Negotiation skills including strategy development and tactical technique
  • Marketing/Analytical skills including accessing and interpreting IRI/AC Nielson data, post-promotion analysis, and category management
  • Finance skills including ability to create profit and volume strategies and understand financial statements
  • Logistics skills including knowledge of order processing, inventory tracking, client and customer distribution methods
  • Physical abilities: Seeing, Color Perception
