About the role
- Billing Specialist responsible for providing billing support for internal accounting team at Abdo. Requires detail-oriented skills and ability to maintain confidentiality in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain updated and accurate data in accounting systems (CCH products)
- Set up new clients, projects & tasks
- Serve as a system expert for firm's billing system
- Update clients and projects daily and roll forward as necessary
- Ensure accuracy and timely processing of invoices
- Review and correct WIP for projects as needed
- Assist with project budgets
- Conduct billing for assigned segments/partners/managers
- Perform ongoing reviews of the billing system and support month end billing requirements
- Make changes to staff time when requested
- Support partners and managers with project reports within our Data Analytics Tool - Compass
- Support continuous improvement of billing processes, controls, and system usage
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of billing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication, with a focus on customer service
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
