About the role

  • Workday Techno Functional Consultant providing solutions for HR modules and integrating systems. Leading requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and training for Workday implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enhancement and support of Workday modules covering: HR Core, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Advanced Compensation and Custom Reports
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Workday configurations/solutions.
  • Design and configure Workday business processes, security, and reporting to meet the business requirements.
  • Provide post-implementation support and training to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of Workday solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Workday with other enterprise systems.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify areas where Workday can be customized to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of Workday configurations.
  • Facilitate training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of Workday features.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems.
  • Develop integration solutions that meet business needs by designing and configuring Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (WWS).
  • Create data mapping and transformation rules to ensure that data flows accurately between Workday and other systems.
  • Utilize RESTful and SOAP APIs for integrating Workday with external applications and systems, ensuring data is exchanged correctly.
  • Perform comprehensive testing of integrations to validate that they function correctly, handle errors appropriately, and meet business requirements.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve integration issues, providing ongoing support to ensure seamless operation. Based on the severity of cases, the SLA need to be met.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Workday techno functional consultant
  • Strong understanding of multiple Workday modules: HR Core, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Advanced Compensation and Custom Reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with business process configuration, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing and validation, end-user training, and troubleshooting and support.
  • Experience of Workday Integration Tools: Proficiency with Workday's integration tools and technologies, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (WWS).
  • System Integration: Skills in integrating Workday with external systems, such as ERP, CRM. Workday report writer and Payroll interfaces PECI & PICOF.
  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as XSLT for data transformation and scripting languages like JavaScript or Groovy for custom integrations.
  • API Integration: Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs to connect Workday with other systems and applications.
