About the role

  • Vice President of Strategy driving LexisNexis' growth strategies and market intelligence initiatives. Leading a cross-functional team focused on innovation and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for the LNNA UK division
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to develop and refine corporate objectives and strategic plans
  • Lead annual strategic planning processes, including market assessments and scenario analysis
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of legal technology trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory changes
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to inform product, go-to-market, and investment strategies
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities, markets, and technologies aligned with the company's core competencies
  • Drive inorganic growth strategies including partnerships, alliances, and M&A evaluations
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver on strategic priorities such as AI implementation, platform modernization, and customer experience innovation
  • Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on strategic challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Corporate Development teams
  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team and RELX corporate executives

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior-level management, corporate strategy, business development or consulting, ideally within the legal market or legal enterprise technology sector
  • Proven ability to lead with a customer driven mindset, consistently aligning strategy, innovation, and execution to deliver exceptional value and experiences
  • Strong executive presence, thought leadership, Cross-Functional influence, Change Agent, Collaborative Mindset, and Ethical Leadership
  • Exceptional relationship-building, Strategic Planning & Execution, Market and Competitive Intelligence, Data-Driven decision making
  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred
