Responsibilities
Assist legal professionals with case law and doctrinal research;
Prepare and draft legal documents (contracts, notarial acts, wills, etc.);
Conduct legal research and compile relevant information;
Monitor updates to laws and regulations;
Assist in preparing court files;
Prepare appeal briefs;
Participate in court sittings and attend court sessions;
Collaborate with clients and partners with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements
College diploma in Legal Technology (or equivalent);
5 years of experience in a similar position;
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
Proficient with legal databases and electronic research tools;
Interest in and ability to work effectively as part of a team;
Rigour, attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
Able to work independently and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility;
