About the role

  • Assist legal professionals with case law and doctrinal research;
  • Prepare and draft legal documents (contracts, notarial acts, wills, etc.);
  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant information;
  • Monitor updates to laws and regulations;
  • Assist in preparing court files;
  • Prepare appeal briefs;
  • Participate in court sittings and attend court sessions;
  • Collaborate with clients and partners with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • College diploma in Legal Technology (or equivalent);
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
  • Proficient with legal databases and electronic research tools;
  • Interest in and ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Rigour, attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility;
