About the role

  • Legal Analyst managing civil lawsuits and strategic processes for fintech company in Brazil. Collaborating with teams to meet deadlines and ensure compliance in legal matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume civil litigation (mass civil disputes).
  • Handle administrative matters (official letters, Procon – consumer protection agency, and extrajudicial notices).
  • Define and direct strategies and processes within the company’s caseload, with support and validation from senior team members.
  • Manage queues with defined volumes and deadlines to meet internal SLAs when coordinating with partner teams and law firms’ operational requests (compliance/enforcement orders, payments, appeal analysis, inquiries, settlement analysis, etc.).
  • Conduct baseline studies, create projects, and lead initiatives in partnership with the internal team and external law firms.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-volume civil litigation (mass litigation).
  • Strong communication skills, with clear verbal and written expression.
  • Collaborative team player; experience working with cross-functional partners.
  • Sense of personal responsibility, urgency, and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks autonomously.
  • Analytical capacity, based on portfolio-level indicators.
  • Basic Excel knowledge (filtering; pivot tables; VLOOKUP and similar functions).
  • Experience with banking products, especially credit products.
  • Experience with high-volume consumer litigation.
  • Prior experience working in a financial institution.
