Responsibilities
Lead the company’s legal function and day-to-day legal operations.
Build scalable legal processes, playbooks, negotiation strategies and approval frameworks tailored to a healthcare SaaS environment.
Own negotiation and structuring of large, complex customer, vendor, and partner agreements which can consist of custom pricing, terms and structure.
Oversee day-to-day contract execution handled by Contract Managers, establishing clear standards, review processes and escalation paths.
Serve as the primary interface and quarterback for outside counsel.
Act as the internal liaison for healthcare regulatory, compliance, and related legal matters, translating external legal advice into practical business guidance.
Provide guidance on product releases, feature design and regulatory implications for new and evolving healthcare SaaS products
Requirements
8–12+ years of legal experience, including in-house commercial contracting
Experience supporting healthcare, health tech, or regulated SaaS businesses
Strong ability to manage outside counsel and complex legal workflows
Proven track record partnering effectively with Sales, Finance, and executive leadership
JD and active bar membership preferred, not required
