About the role

  • Advise clients on business and real estate transactions, including entity formation and governance.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related documents.
  • Design and implement estate and tax planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and related instruments.
  • Counsel clients on business succession and charitable giving strategies.
  • Provide ongoing guidance on corporate, partnership, and individual tax issues.
  • Direct and collaborate with paralegals and associates to ensure efficient case management.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Oregon State Bar required (Washington admission a plus).
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in business and estate planning law.
  • Proven expertise in drafting, negotiation, and client counseling.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client matters with independence and professionalism.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to client service excellence.
