About the role

  • Achieve 100% of monthly, quarterly, annual sales plan.
  • Uses effective time management skills to visit customers and / or potential customers.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and services.
  • Manage existing customers and acquire new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Plan and develop the market for existing and new products in accordance with company goals and objectives.
  • Drive demand for products by attaining approvals and gaining exposure to healthcare providers.
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers.
  • Attend team sales meetings, training meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required.
  • Analyze and report market and business feedback using available support tools.
  • Represent company values and integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent sales, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Registered Dietitian preferred.
  • Possess a proactive attitude, initiative, and drive.
  • Must possess computer skills with a keen understanding of business software such as, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents, email, and calendar.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings on occasion.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
  • Outgoing, positive, and willing to contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
  • Superior negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen ability to listen and follow-up effectively and diplomatically with all staffing levels and customers.
  • Must have a vehicle maintained in good working order, current valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance documentation.
