Responsibilities
Developing and executing strategies to identify, engage, and expand business opportunities with direct and indirect channels through consultative selling, funnel management, and cross-selling.
Building trusted relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing solutions that advance their solar energy objectives.
Managing time and territory efficiently to maximize field engagement and customer impact.
Monitoring and staying informed of solar market and industry trends through collaboration, conferences, and publications.
Negotiating and executing customer-specific project contracts in collaboration with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Sales, Service, Customer Support).
Leveraging CRM tools for accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and KPI management.
Collaborating with leadership and sales operations to maintain a healthy and productive opportunity pipeline.
Requirements
5+ years of sales or commercial experience in an industrial B2B environment; solar energy experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse technical and commercial audiences.
Demonstrated proficiency in CRM systems for managing sales funnels and forecasting.
Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region, with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
