About the role
- Lead the Developer Experience program and define how developers work with and successfully use Shopware.
- Work closely with engineering, product, QA, DevRel, and documentation teams as well as marketing, sales, and external contributors.
- Ensure Shopware remains the most open, efficient, and inspiring commerce platform for developers.
- Identify and mitigate risks before they escalate.
- Align priorities and ensure seamless collaboration across teams.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in software project or program management, technical leadership, or a comparable cross-functional role.
- Experience in engineering, DevOps, or Developer Relations — ideally in an open-source, SaaS, or platform environment.
- Strong understanding of modern development environments with APIs, SDKs, CI/CD, and developer tooling.
- Ability to translate roadmap goals into concrete, measurable work packages and KPIs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Fluent English (German not required).
