About the role
- Technical Consultant supporting clients in health sector digitalization efforts. Maintaining project success through expert advisory and technical project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supporting our clients in initiating, scoping, designing and implementing digitalization initiatives
- Leading subject-matter moderation in the development of interdisciplinary solution concepts for IT projects (e.g., together with experts from applications, operations and infrastructure)
- Acting as technical sub-project lead in IT projects
- Supporting overall project management in the execution and control of IT-related projects
- Assisting in the preparation of decision papers for steering committees
- Early identification of technical project risks and support in pragmatic problem resolution
- Managing external vendors/service providers within IT projects
- Preparing technical procurement/tender documents together with experts from other departments
- Reviewing technical specifications and solution concepts from external vendors as part of procurement processes
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with many years of relevant professional experience in the IT field, or a degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science with appropriate IT background knowledge, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience contributing to IT projects, either in technical project leadership or as a solution architect
- Broad knowledge across different disciplines of information processing (all-round IT specialist)
- Experience creating technical specifications
- Desirable: experience in IT consulting
- Strong team- and customer-orientation, resilience, goal- and quality-orientation
- Solid knowledge of project management
- High self-motivation and strong analytical skills
- Structured working style combined with strong problem-solving ability
- German: business fluent, spoken and written
