Responsibilities
- Act as a technical reference and facilitator within the Embossing team, ensuring high-quality, high-performance software deliveries
- Provide technical guidance to the team, work hands-on in development, and ensure alignment with engineering, automation, and architecture best practices in distributed and scalable environments
- Define and align the technical vision for the Embossing team, ensuring architectural consistency and adherence to strategic goals
- Oversee development best practices, code reviews, and architectural patterns, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability
- Lead the team technically, promoting professional growth, autonomy, and a culture of continuous learning
- Manage and optimize data pipelines and DAGs, integrating automated transformation processes and performance
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure application monitoring, resilience, and observability
- Identify and propose continuous improvements, seeking technical and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Java (Quarkus) and Python (PySpark)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Step Functions), and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with DAGs, workflow orchestration, and performance of distributed systems
- Knowledge of automation, containers, logging, and application monitoring
- Strong background in microservices, messaging, and scalable design.
