KPMG Global Services seeking a French - speaking Personal Tax Analyst to handle global mobility services. Role involves tax compliance support for mobile employees in Budapest.
About the role
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns
- Oversee preparation of corporate income tax, VAT and other statutory tax filings
- Maintain compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and review tax provisions in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP
- Collaborate with Finance during month-end and year-end closings and for audits
- Provide tax-related input for financial statements and external audits
- Evaluate tax implications of business initiatives, investments, or transactions
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Work closely with Treasury to estimate monthly tax liabilities and ensure timely payments
- Assess tax risks, implement internal controls, and respond to tax authority inquiries and audits
- Coordinate with external tax advisors, consultants, and auditors
Requirements
- Degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3–5 years of tax consultancy experience, ideally in an international or fast-growing company
- Solid knowledge of local and international tax regulations and transfer pricing regulations
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory); German is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with financial and ERP systems
