About the role

• Systems Engineer focused on security and IT infrastructure at infodas, an Airbus subsidiary. Planning and implementing secure systems while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation and administration of secure IT systems and networks
• Ensuring compliance with security policies, standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, including implementation of remediation measures
• Monitoring, logging and incident response as part of Security Operations
• Project management from requirements analysis to implementation
• Advising internal projects on architecture and system-related IT security issues
• Documentation, automation and continuous optimization of security processes
• 2nd-level support for security infrastructure components
• Conducting trainings, project acceptances and handling procurement/tenders

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security or a comparable technical qualification with several years of relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in system administration (Windows/Linux) and IT security
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and Zero Trust architectures
• Experience with security tools (e.g. SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection)
• Familiarity with relevant standards (ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS/NIS2, CIS)
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working, able to work independently and in a team
• Very good German and good English skills
