About the role

  • System Engineer focusing on AOI/EFEM in the semiconductor industry. Integrating equipment and developing optical inspection concepts at the Jena location.

Responsibilities

  • Integration of Equipment Front End Modules (EFEM) for our AOI inspection systems as well as metrology equipment according to SECS/GEM standard
  • Development of optical inspection concepts for components, assemblies and optical systems
  • Preparation of test documentation for production and training of production staff
  • Technical support for supplier qualification

Requirements

  • Technical background: Degree in engineering, automation technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, or a similar field
  • Practical experience: Knowledge and experience in automation/robotics and optical measurement methods
  • Metrology expertise: Practical and theoretical experience with optical metrology
  • Design experience: Experience in mechanical/design engineering
  • PLC knowledge: System and programming understanding of PLC controls (Beckhoff) is an advantage
  • Team player: Responsible, independent working style within a team
