About the role
- System Engineer focusing on network technology with Aruba products and firewall solutions. Collaborating with clients and teams for infrastructure and network projects in Austria.
Responsibilities
- You plan, implement and operate Aruba-based WLAN/LAN infrastructures, complex datacenter switching environments and solutions based on the Aruba SEE platform
- You design and implement security and firewall solutions using Fortinet and act as a knowledgeable contact for conception, operation and troubleshooting
- You support our customers at 2nd and 3rd level support and, together with colleagues, carry out varied infrastructure and network projects
- You present technical concepts, solution scenarios and architectural approaches in presales
- Working in the areas of server, storage and networking with selected components from the HPE and Aruba portfolios, as well as basic handling of Veeam Backup & Replication (not a focus), are also part of your responsibilities
- Basic administration of Windows Server and client environments, Entra ID, M365 and Microsoft-based MDM
Requirements
- Solid knowledge in networking, ideally with Aruba products, and experience with firewall solutions, preferably Fortinet
- Passion and drive to work with new technologies and to shape IT processes
- Completed IT education (apprenticeship, HTL or university degree)
- Enjoyment in tackling challenging and diverse tasks together as part of a team
- Service orientation and customer satisfaction are a given for you
- Good English skills
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in the IT environment
