About the role
- Assist in coordinating transportation of rock powder and soil samples from mines to farms for Enhanced Rock Weathering projects
- Support planning and execution of transportation and logistics operations
- Coordinate with third-party providers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards
- Monitor logistics workflows and address operational challenges
- Travel regularly to mines, transportation hubs, and farm sites to monitor activities and provide on-site support
- Build and maintain relationships with transport providers, mining partners, and farming partners
- Work closely with field and science teams to align logistics with project requirements
- Assist in refining logistics routes and improving material handling protocols to reduce costs and delays
- Track, document, and report transportation activities and use data to enhance logistics operations over time
Requirements
- Previous experience or education in logistics, operations, or supply chain management
- Familiarity with Brazil’s rural transportation infrastructure (preferred)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
- Passion for sustainability and regenerative agriculture
- Bonus: Experience with logistics tools or software for route planning
- Bonus: Knowledge of agricultural materials or operations
