About the role
- Buyer supporting category management strategies in retail with a focus on pricing and campaigns. Working closely with suppliers and industry partners while conducting analyses and evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Category Manager in implementing category strategies regarding pricing, terms and campaigns
- Serve as the central point of contact for a major industry partner
- Operational purchasing activities: supplier analysis, offer evaluation, and conducting negotiations
- Ensure inventory KPIs, stock levels and gross margins
- Prepare regular category analyses and reports
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
- Several years of professional experience in retail and/or purchasing or category management
- Deep product-group knowledge in the area of small electrical appliances
- Advanced MS Office skills
- SAP knowledge would be an advantage
