About the role

  • oversee the end-to-end Sponsor Bank program and ensure processes are executed in alignment with our policies, standards, and procedures
  • collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management and Relationship Management to develop and maintain a comprehensive governance program, focusing on control reporting, risks and controls, and ongoing monitoring of Sponsor bank Functions
  • provide governance and oversight through control reporting, ongoing monitoring, risk and control testing, process mapping, and ensuring Sponsor Bank functions align with policies and regulatory guidance
  • build and maintain key relationships and ensure adherence to bank policy and regulatory expectations, presenting information clearly to internal and external partners
  • develop and maintain oversight monitoring, reporting, and critical documentation for consistency and review by key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • identify key risks to the Sponsor Bank program and develop action plans to address and mitigate the risks

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of experience in Governance, Compliance, Consumer Lending, or Internal Audit
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data & Analytics, Risk Management, Accounting, or similar (preferred)
  • CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist)
  • CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager)
  • APRP (Accredited Payments Risk Professional)
  • 10+ years of experience in Governance, Compliance, Consumer Lending, or Internal Audit (preferred)
