About the role

• Delivering and managing solution architecture for IT projects at Transport for NSW. Collaborating with multiple teams and leading platform transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and managing the solution architecture of multiple complex IT projects and will help platform transformation to clearly define solution boundary, integration including expert advise, drive efficiency and improve business and customer outcomes.
• Translating business requirements into scalable and sustainable solution designs that support the organisation’s technology strategy and Azure Integration platform strategy
• Supporting and maintaining comprehensive solution architecture models, policies, standards, security and procedures to evaluate options and deliver quality solutions to project and program teams.
• Collaborating with project managers to reduce technical complexity through solution design documentation, outlining key features, delivery phases, and operational requirements.
• Deliver, monitor and evaluate solution architecture of platforms to migrate, improve and maintain Integration interfaces to assure the platform scalability and performance is maintained
• Promote ongoing use of information and governance tools and processes to optimise and support information solution
• Collaborate with project managers, enterprise architects and product/platform supplier SMEs to reduce technical complexity through solution design documents that specify and describe features, phases and operational delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with history of delivering solution architecture and implementation of a complex program in complex enterprise environments.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering legacy Integration migration to Azure Integration platform
• Demonstrated experience in driving the solution architecture of azure integration platform within complex environment of multiple teams including Enterprise architects, Application solution architects, subject matter experts, Cyber security and service providers
• Demonstrated experience in getting through the reference architecture, enterprise platform architecture, solution designs in required Design authorities, architecture boards and group technology level forums
• Demonstrate experience in Application integration, integration platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions and cloud platforms Azure and AWS.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve complex issues across diverse stakeholder groups.
• A proactive, self-starter approach, with the ability to work autonomously to deliver outcomes
• Ability to build relationships quickly, influence & negotiate.
