Responsibilities
- Lead demand planning, forecasting, and budget optimization for eBay Core Technology
- Handle software contract management and financial oversight
- Optimize team procedures and collaborate with various business areas and senior leadership
- Take end-to-end ownership of the budget, including vendor management, quarterly forecasts, identifying savings and risks
- Work closely with Legal, Infosec, Privacy, and Third Party Risk Management teams
- Assess software compliance and risk exposure during onboarding and periodically thereafter
- Address and resolve vendor onboarding, payment issues, and disputes
- Spearhead and handle business contract discussions and vendor negotiations
- Evaluate potential projects and conduct cost-benefit analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or finance
- Five years of vendor management experience in strategic sourcing, business operations, program management, or related field
- Experience handling contracts as a software asset management or technology sourcing manager
- Experience in handling budgets and driving cost reduction programs
- Experience presenting and communicating with senior leadership
- 5+ years experience handling cross-functional projects with technical and non-technical partners
- 5+ years experience in the technology industry
- Familiarity with Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, ITSM tools, project planning tools (ex: ServiceNow, Monday.com, Ariba, etc.)
