Responsibilities
- You develop modern, high-performance applications with GUI, middleware and backend components in a service-oriented architecture.
- Together with your agile team you implement tailored solutions based on Java, Spring and React.
- You accompany the entire project lifecycle — from conception and design through implementation and testing.
- Quality matters to you: you ensure our software remains stable and future-proof through code reviews, unit tests and integration tests.
- You analyze existing applications, identify weaknesses and implement sustainable fixes.
- You continuously optimize existing systems and bring them up to date — both technically and functionally.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in software development
- Practical experience with various software development models, especially in an agile environment
- Competence in solution design and translating complex requirements into technical solutions
- Confident use of common development tools and testing frameworks
- Knowledge of Java, Spring or JavaScript (React preferred)
- Practical experience with middleware technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ), REST APIs, and relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience using code assistance systems and/or coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) is a plus
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment processes
- Advantageous (not required): know-how in Continuous Integration as well as Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Knowledge of processing XML documents or authentication methods such as OIDC or SAML
- Interest in innovative technologies and active tracking of current IT trends
- Business-fluent German and good English.
