About the role
- Lead the global technology function for EverWell, owning engineering and platform strategy across Timely and SalonBiz
- Ensure technical vision aligns with company objectives and drive product delivery excellence
- Oversee platform architecture and modernisation, cloud strategy, DevOps, and system reliability
- Build and lead distributed engineering teams, fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and high performance
- Own delivery KPIs, budgets, vendors, and tooling and ensure platforms meet performance and security standards
- Partner with SVP of Product and senior leaders to align roadmaps and priorities
- Collaborate with Sales, Support, Success, Finance, IT and EverCommerce on compliance, risk, and governance
- Act as the voice of technology at the executive level, championing engineering excellence and customer-first delivery
Requirements
- 10+ years in technology leadership roles, ideally across multiple SaaS products or business units
- Proven experience leading engineering and platform teams at scale
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to manage costs and pragmatically work with capacity to deliver on company goals
- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, DevOps, platform thinking, and modern SDLC practices
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on engagement and pragmatism
- Track record of growing inclusive and high-performance engineering cultures
- Skilled in cross-functional stakeholder management
- Champion for continuous improvement, customer focus, and clear decision-making
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
