About the role
- Manage a large team of data management and quantitative analysis professionals preparing data sets and conducting statistical, financial, and econometric modeling
- Oversee data management and quantitative analysis activities, provide insights, and implement process improvements
- Manage data vendor relationships, system costs, and contracts
- Oversee new data-related technology enhancements and implementations
- Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff and ensure compliance with Bank standards and best practices
- Deliver reports and presentations to senior leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years of total work experience (minimum 5 years)
- 0-1 years in management preferred
- Experience in financial services preferred
- Proven ability to manage large teams and coordinate resources effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred
- Strong skills in SQL, querying, and macro development
- Familiarity with programming or system configuration to set up sophisticated models or algorithms
