About the role

  • Manage a large team of data management and quantitative analysis professionals preparing data sets and conducting statistical, financial, and econometric modeling
  • Oversee data management and quantitative analysis activities, provide insights, and implement process improvements
  • Manage data vendor relationships, system costs, and contracts
  • Oversee new data-related technology enhancements and implementations
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff and ensure compliance with Bank standards and best practices
  • Deliver reports and presentations to senior leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of total work experience (minimum 5 years)
  • 0-1 years in management preferred
  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and coordinate resources effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred
  • Strong skills in SQL, querying, and macro development
  • Familiarity with programming or system configuration to set up sophisticated models or algorithms
