About the role
- Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery for healthcare applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Define and maintain design systems tailored for healthcare workflows.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with a patient- and clinician-first mindset.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure effective solutions.
- Mentor and guide associate/junior designers.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.
- Stay updated with the latest healthcare design standards and UI/UX trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, HCI, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio (preferably in healthcare or enterprise applications).
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web and mobile design.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and usability practices in healthcare.
- Knowledge of React frontend framework is a plus.
- Excellent grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and basic front-end knowledge for collaboration with developers.
- Experience with design systems, Tailwind, Bootstrap, or Material UI.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of Git and version control.
- Strong interest in designing for healthcare and learning domain workflows.
- Prior experience mentoring junior designers is a plus.
