About the role

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s computer systems and servers
  • Design, install, and configure computer systems, servers, and networks
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, storage, network devices, and applications
  • Implement and manage security protocols and compliance policies
  • Provide technical support and lead technical projects
  • Oversee server and network infrastructures to ensure smooth operation
  • Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and modernization efforts
  • Work closely with external managed service providers to guarantee service delivery of user support and server maintenance tasks
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate with helpdesk technicians, vendors, and MSPs

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator role supporting enterprise Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat/Linux environments
  • Experience with server virtualization platforms/hypervisors in a senior or lead capacity
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, storage, network devices, and enterprise applications
  • Ability to plan, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions that support organizational needs
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, and metrics
  • Experience with security procedures, compliance standards, and disaster recovery planning
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a direct report and coordinate activities with Managed Service Providers and vendors
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with business units
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification
