If InsuranceSenior Quality Engineer
Senior Quality Engineer ensuring high - quality web applications. Collaborating in Agile teams within the Nordic insurance sector to enhance software quality and user experiences.
About the role
- Test Motive ELD (Electronic Logging Device) and non-ELD integrated software features across devices, platforms, and browsers
- Create test plans, maintain documentation, and perform testing on multiple devices, platforms, and browsers
- Plan and execute verification of features broken down into components for weekly releases
- Take full ownership of QA artifacts and E2E testing
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in web, mobile, and ELD outputs and screens
- Investigate ES and customer-facing issues and aid leads in retrospection of possible customer issues
- Point out execution gaps and own process improvements
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Customer Success, software engineering, and embedded systems teams
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in Software Testing (senior QA level)
- Strong CS background
- Solid grip on automation testing tools and frameworks
- Experience in both manual testing and automation (must)
- Flare for testing map-based real-time systems
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles
- Ability to take ownership of all manual testing tasks
- Ability to understand Software Design Specifications
- Ability to create boundary value, positive, and negative test cases
- Knowledge of Rest API
- UI Automation will be a plus
- Knowledge of issue tracking tools (JIRA preferable)
- Knowledge of OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms
- Keen towards programming languages and code reviews
- Applicant must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations (work authorization requirement)
