About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing Python web applications and React components for fintech startup in Berlin. Collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to project planning in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and development of the Digital Opening form (ReactJS)
- Maintenance and development of API workflows used for automated account selection (Python)
- Support with data capture and processing in the CRM system (Odoo)
- Support in backend maintenance
- Participation in the development of new applications in collaboration with design teams
- Development and maintenance of our Digital Opening Form, written in Next.js
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Python and web development (HTTP, REST, HTML).
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and understanding of software design principles.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and basic SQL.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, especially React.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- Experience writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Knowledge of containers (e.g., Docker).
- Practical experience with issue management and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience creating frontend designs with CSS and related frameworks such as Tailwind and Bootstrap
- Desirable: next.js
