About the role

• Senior Project Manager responsible for managing aerospace projects from conception to completion. Ensuring project performance meets customer requirements, budget, and timelines while supporting business development.

Responsibilities

• Support business development and bid activities, including requirements capture, scope definition, cost estimation, and scheduling
• Responsibility for the performance of projects within your area of responsibility
• Own programme financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
• Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, budgets, and schedules
• Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks
• Ensuring that the customers’ requirements are being met and achieving maximum efficiency and economy compatible with the quality required by the customer
• Driving continuous improvement with your area of responsibility
• Ensure compliance with the relevant Quality standards and business and customer processes
• Ensuring the security of data and information received in-confidence from clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• HND/degree level within an Engineering, Project Management or Business/Operational Management field or/and be able to demonstrate experience and proven capability
• Recognised Project/Programme Management qualification (e.g., APM, PMP, MSP) preferred
• Significant experience in delivering successful projects
• Exceptional KPI Ownership & delivery focus
• High level of contractual and financial acumen
• Significant / Aerospace / Defence sector experience preferably within an Engineering Services business
• Experience of performance management of people & teams
• Experience of working with diverse and multiple stakeholders, in a complex environment
