About the role

  • Lead the Plus Acquisition team, driving a cross-functional team across Engineering, Science and Commercial to optimise conversion to Plus.
  • Own the acquisition funnel across all tiers and partnership propositions (e.g. Prime) and operate globally impacting all markets.
  • Transform targeting capabilities, test promotions, build scaling distribution through partner-propositions, and optimise the sign-up experience cross-channel.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Science and Commercial stakeholders to design and execute experiments and growth initiatives.
  • Drive the team's contribution to Deliveroo's ambition to become a Plus-first business.

Requirements

  • You are a problem solver. Endlessly curious, asking the right questions, communicating clearly, and an ability to translate complex ambiguity into a clear, execution plan.
  • You are both customer first, and commercially minded. You can blend research, design and data to build propositions and experiences that deliver value across the marketplace.
  • You are able to clearly communicate at all levels within the business, driving teams whilst surfacing key problems and proposals for input across senior leadership.
  • You think like a General Manager. We are a central team but with a big impact on the local P&L and need to know the customer, competitive and business context in each market we serve.
  • You’ll have a growth mindset - we get things wrong, but we learn fast, adapt and move forwards.
