About the role

  • Senior Product Manager at Pocket Prep developing innovative features for an educational platform. Collaborating with design and engineering teams to enhance user experiences for learners.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a deep understanding of our customer’s needs, pain points, and desires
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and content to build and iterate on features that engage adult learners and support long term retention
  • Manage projects through the product development lifecycle from idea through release
  • Maintain the product roadmap and keep the company informed on all things related to your projects
  • Identify key performance indicators for the projects you work on, and monitor and report on those KPIs as the product is improved over time
  • Train customer support and the sales team on feature updates

Requirements

  • Familiarity with continuous discovery or empowered product team models
  • At least 5 years in a product management role
  • Experience using data analytics to drive product improvements
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in learning science
  • Located in the Durham, NC area
  • Experience conducting user research (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (preferred)
