About the role

  • Oversee development and execution of world-class visual merchandising strategies that elevate Hourglass global in-store presence across diverse markets.
  • Lead the end-to-end visual merchandising process for retailer expansions and new market launches and fixture overhauls in NA, ANZ, APAC.
  • Own seasonal update process across multiple retail channels in NA, ANZ, APAC.
  • Strategically develop seasonal planogram updates for NA, ANZ, APAC fixtures, Global Countertop Units, and APAC shop-in-shops.
  • Lead weekly cross-functional meetings with commercial and sales teams to critically assess assortment updates, communicate fixture template spatial constraints and provide recommendations that meet commercial objectives while upholding brand aesthetic standards.
  • Lead the planning, development and execution process for secondary VM exposures in key NA, ANZ, APAC retailers. Ensure timely response and delivery of approved designs and assets to regions and vendors. Effectively and actively communicate potential project timeline risk.
  • Own vendor timeline management and communication from project kick off to final execution.
  • Track internal project timelines, deliverables, approvals and budgets. Lead weekly team meetings to review project status and potential timeline risk.
  • Own and effectively project manage new door openings and door closures. Work closely with commercial teams to pro-actively plan fixture inventory for changes in door counts & distribution.
  • Critically analyze vendor quotes and track POs based on understanding of Globally planned budgets. Effectively present pricing to senior leaders for approvals.
  • Oversee POs process and ensure proper management in global tracker.
  • Lead regular status calls with regional teams in NA, ANZ, APAC. Clearly communicate meeting agendas and issue actionable recaps.
  • Drive process improvement for regional submission of new project requests. Will be the global point person to ensure project request forms are properly issued by regions, tracked and timelines met.
  • Help drive process improvement for repair and maintenance management.
  • Oversee repair and maintenance and after-market care process. Ensure post-launch reports are issued and followed-up with to ensure best-in-class execution.
  • Submit artwork requests for merchandising visual requirements.
  • Coordinate distribution of seasonal update guidelines and instruction booklets
  • Create and present visual merchandising guidelines to NA/ANZ/APAC regional teams.
  • Work collaboratively with VMSD team colleagues and cross functional partners to optimize processes and drive continuous workflow improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Project Management or related field
  • BS in Visual Merchandising will be highly regarded
  • Strong MS Office and Smartsheet skills
  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized
  • Strong communicator and proactive problem solver
  • Experience with Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
  • Experience working in an entrepreneur environment is a plus
