About the role
- Drive product strategies at GovTech, enabling development of impactful government products. Join a start-up team influencing national priority solutions with public good at scale.
Responsibilities
- Top-down strategy/hypothesis development and execution. We'll drive the development of an overall product strategy in terms of what GovTech should build
- Improving products. Work as a consultant to sharpen product thinking through product one-pagers, and influence teams to co-create go-to-market plans to improve product impact and efficiency
- Bottom-up best practices and policy development. Amplify best product practices and prove them out to the organisational, and whole-of-government level
Requirements
- Technical knowledge in product management, including discerning realistic technical requirements and setting the right outcome metrics
- Experience in enterprise, backend and data products a plus
- Hunger to learn, energised by large, ambiguous problem spaces and able to independently break it down into workable chunks
- Strong communicator in written, slides or spoken form, with good stakeholdering skills
- VC, corporate/business strategy, government experience a plus
