About the role

  • Regional Manager responsible for implementing operational plans and strategies for CAREERS organization. Leading regional operations and developing relationships with stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction to regional operations including implementation of programs, services, policies and guidelines.
  • Take a proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong and productive relationships within CAREERS as well as with external stakeholders and strategic partners.
  • Develop and oversee programs and ensure organizational goals are met or exceeded.
  • Participate in the preparation and administration of the approved annual budget.
  • Manage human resources for the region.
  • Provide input and consultation to the Director, Operations on strategic and operational matters.
  • Monitor the quality and impact of programs in the region.

Requirements

  • Experience as a leader in a non-profit, community development, social development, or other related role.
  • Post-secondary education is required (apprenticeship, college, or university).
  • A valid Alberta driver’s license and an incident free criminal record and child welfare checks required.
  • Excellent technical skills in Office 365 and databases.
