About the role

  • Global Cost Controller leading costing and process improvement efforts within Insulet's manufacturing network. Responsible for financial planning, inventory valuation, and cost accuracy across locations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the standard cost process, including annual updates and cost roll-ups
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory valuation across global sites
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of warranty accruals and reserves
  • Drive consistency of finance and accounting activities across manufacturing teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
  • 10 + years of experience in cost accounting, inventory valuation, or operations finance, preferably in a global manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of FIFO valuation, standard costing, inventory and warranty accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) and advanced Excel skills
