Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily financial operations of private market funds
- Controlling of investment activities, cash management, NAV closings and internal reporting
- Handling capital calls and distributions, including income calculations for portfolios
- Supporting fund-related obligations, including quarterly reporting
- Monitoring the quarterly calculation of management fees and the allocation of transaction fees
- Reviewing transactions in Investran
- Reviewing monthly and quarterly account analyses and reconciliations
- Assisting accounting with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Supporting the external audit
- Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting
- CPA certification
- Solid experience with private market funds or in fund controlling
- Professional experience at a fund manager or in asset management at a bank or at a Big Four firm with a focus on fund audits
- Analytical, detail-oriented personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team player with the ability to communicate across departments
- Self-starter, highly organized and proactive in executing responsibilities
- Ability to manage and complete multiple priorities in a timely manner
