About the role
- Lead IT risk assessments across systems, products, and change initiatives — define treatment plans and drive remediation to completion
- Stay ahead of risks in cloud environments (AWS), covering IAM, data protection, and configuration management
- Challenge the design of web and mobile apps (front end, APIs, authentication, data storage, CI/CD pipelines) to ensure resilience by design
- Build operational resilience by leading business continuity, disaster recovery, and backup strategies — and validating them through regular testing
- Map dependencies across systems and processes to uncover vulnerabilities and single points of failure
- Embed risk controls into engineering workflows, automating checks where possible
- Feed insights from incidents and tests back into stronger controls and engineering practices
- Own IT Risk and ensure IT controls are effective, simple, and future-proof
Requirements
- Engineering background (software, systems, or security)
- Good understanding of web and mobile application architectures and their components
- Cloud experience, AWS in particular
- Proven track record in IT risk assessment and control design
- Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery practices (BIA, RTO/RPO, test planning and execution)
- Ability to translate technical risk into clear, actionable outcomes for engineering and business teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of DORA and PSD2/SCA is a nice-to-have
