Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, investor reports, and portfolio performance metrics.
- Track and report on the financial health of portfolio companies, including KPIs and benchmarking.
- Support the preparation of internal and external reports for investors and management.
- Conduct financial forecasting, scenario planning, and valuation analysis to support decision-making.
- Work closely with the investment team on due diligence and deal evaluation.
- Assist in fund accounting activities, including capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations.
- Support investor relations by preparing quarterly presentations and maintaining accurate financial data and contributing to investor updates.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to requirements.
- Help maintain sound financial policies and internal controls.
- Liaise between the Fund and the Administrator/Bookkeeper.
- Support audit and tax processes by preparing documentation and coordinating with external auditors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and fund balances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, ideally in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, commercial banking, or audit/advisory.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, modeling, and valuation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent Excel and financial modeling proficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to grow within a high-performance environment.
