About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for the reliability and performance of deployment pipelines. Working within a skilled international team at Scompler, focused on automation and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery processes and resilient operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of cloud-based infrastructure.
- Automate operational processes through IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
- Define and evolve monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies.
- Improve incident management processes and lead post-incident reviews.
- Advocate and drive best practices for security, compliance, and reliability across engineering teams.
- Support the lifecycle of services from design to operation with a focus on resilience and scalability.
- Enable and mentor engineers on infrastructure and operational excellence topics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE, working with complex, distributed systems in SaaS environments.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and are confident operating Helm and ArgoCD in production.
- Fluent in Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform) and approach automation as a default.
- Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Experience with security standards and audits (e.g., ISO 27001) is considered a plus.
