About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for the reliability and performance of deployment pipelines. Working within a skilled international team at Scompler, focused on automation and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery processes and resilient operations.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of cloud-based infrastructure.
• Automate operational processes through IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• Define and evolve monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies.
• Improve incident management processes and lead post-incident reviews.
• Advocate and drive best practices for security, compliance, and reliability across engineering teams.
• Support the lifecycle of services from design to operation with a focus on resilience and scalability.
• Enable and mentor engineers on infrastructure and operational excellence topics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE, working with complex, distributed systems in SaaS environments.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and are confident operating Helm and ArgoCD in production.
• Fluent in Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform) and approach automation as a default.
• Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Experience with security standards and audits (e.g., ISO 27001) is considered a plus.
