About the role
- Create code explorers, quick starts, demo apps, code examples, written and video tutorials, blog posts and other interactive learning material
- Own the docs for specific products or feature areas, including advocating for developer needs throughout the product development lifecycle: review specs, play with API features at early stages, suggest feature improvements, and more
- Write developer guide, API, and SDK documentation using docs-as-code and agile processes
- Contribute to the team's next-generation developer content strategy planning and implementation targeting both developer and LLMs as content consumers
- Help implement internal AI-powered solutions/agentic tools to enhance the productivity of content creation, management, and delivery
- Take part in designing and developing new functionality for our developer portal site
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, marketing, and solution engineers to ensure consistent developer experience and messaging across the organization
- Optionally represent Cloudinary at developer conferences and other speaking engagements
Requirements
- You've worked for at least 5 years as a developer advocate, technical blogger/influencer, developer, API tech writer, or similar
- You love writing code and have expertise in at least one modern programming language (please be prepared to show examples)
- Experience and interest in LLM-driven IDEs and next-generation developer trends
- Strong command of REST APIs
- You're an educator at heart who thrives on making developers' lives easier
- You have a knack for presenting technical content in creative and interesting ways
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment
- You're a self-starter: you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities to initiate, and take pride in owning & driving measurable results
- Although you're highly independent, you enjoy the benefits of working in and collaborating with a skilled devex team
- You've got excellent native English writing skills
