About the role
- Developer Relations Engineer at Liquid Reply focused on Cloud-native and Platform Engineering. Engage clients and improve technical communities through innovative solutions and support.
Responsibilities
- Technical project work & consulting (60%–80%)
- Advising and supporting our clients in the development and implementation of Platform Engineering solutions
- Designing customer-specific reference architectures for Sovereign Cloud implementations
- Developing technical demos and proofs-of-concept for client projects
- Implementing best practices for cloud-native architectures
- Active contribution to open-source projects that are relevant to our clients
- Creating technical documentation and architectural concepts
- Developer Relations & Community Management (20%–40%)
- Building and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders at our clients
- Developing thought leadership content such as whitepapers, best-practice guides, and case studies
- Presenting customer references and technical solutions at conferences
- Organizing and delivering workshops and training sessions for clients
- Moderating knowledge-sharing sessions between different client teams
- Evaluating new technologies and trends for our consulting practice
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in cloud and IT consulting with solid knowledge in:
- • Container technologies and Kubernetes
- • Infrastructure as Code and cloud platforms
- • CI/CD and DevOps practices
- • Security and compliance for Sovereign Cloud
- Practical experience in implementing enterprise solutions
- Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated industries
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to different stakeholder groups
- Experience in conducting workshops and presentations
- Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented thinking
- Very good communication skills in English and German, and willingness to travel
