About the role
- Senior Demand Planning Analyst at Dengo Chocolates responsible for forecasts and leading S&OP process alongside Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales forecasts at the item (SKU) level using statistical analyses, sales history and market trends for both short- and long-term horizons.
- Support the implementation of the S&OP process, actively participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, acting as a focal point and collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to define the future sales plan.
- Interface with Production and PCP teams, providing visibility into sales forecasts, risks and opportunities discussed during the S&OP cycle.
- Analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, opportunities and risks to forecast accuracy.
- Create, manage and update demand plan-related metrics (e.g., SFA and BIAS). Communicate these metrics to the company.
- Lead communication and coordination with commercial teams regarding stock constraints, and participate in defining item prioritization.
- Responsible for managing and monitoring the delisting process, together with the Marketing team, defining action plans for clearance and communicating with Supply teams.
- Lead stock risk clearance processes: identify at-risk items, define action plans with Marketing and Sales, and coordinate and monitor execution of those plans.
- Support continuous improvement projects for processes and tools related to demand planning.
- Evaluate the impact of product launches, promotions, seasonality or market movements on demand.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Logistics or related fields.
- Previous experience in demand planning, preferably in environments with high data volumes and multiple product categories.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and report creation.
- Knowledge of SAP systems (planning or logistics modules is a plus).
- Experience with S&OP processes is a differentiator.
