About the role

  • Lead on the commercial success of major industry conferences including hitting quality, timelines, revenue and attendance targets and setting sales and marketing strategy for the entire project
  • Research markets, understand hot business issues, develop conference agendas, and conduct high profile marketing campaigns
  • Mentor and manage other Conference Producers including deadline management, monitoring event performance, planning (strategic, financial and operational), providing guidance and coaching
  • Oversee quality control on products, marketing and client relations
  • Involved in central projects that are core to driving the business forward
  • Contribute to future strategy and business planning

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of working at a commercial B2B conference company, ideally in a Producer role
  • Track record of commercial and sales success
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to work in changing circumstances
  • Experience managing entire projects at scale and/or portfolios, and/or grown commercial events/products from scratch
  • Commercially driven with understanding of commercial drivers behind customer decisions
  • Interest in business and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Readiness to take responsibility for work and great communication skills
  • Ability to identify new and interesting business trends
  • Communication, research and analytical skills
  • Target-driven mindset
